Hungry Boys

Hungry Boys needed to grow local brand awareness and turn social engagement into real-world footfall across their three locations, so I built a social-first content strategy around food culture, humour, trends, and creative competitor-style formats. I defined clear content pillars and platform-native short-form formats, then planned, filmed, edited, and published consistent video content with strong hooks and community-driven storytelling. I managed the full content pipeline and iterated formats using performance insights to maximise reach, engagement, and conversion.

  • Grew Hungry Boys’ Instagram following by +4,000 (14k → 18k) within five months through consistent short-form video output, trend-adapted formats, and community-driven content pillars focused on food culture and humour.

  • Increased local brand visibility through platform-native content formats designed for discovery, including TikTok-style Reels and trend-led edits. Built a consistent posting cadence to maintain algorithmic momentum and audience retention.

  • Content contributed to increased local brand awareness and restaurant footfall, with social media acting as a key discovery and decision-making channel for customers visiting the venues.

  • Found that competitor-style creative formats and humour-driven hooks significantly outperformed traditional product-led content. Iterated formats based on watch time, saves, and shares to refine hooks, pacing, and storytelling, improving discoverability and engagement.
